Seichi Tabata Sensei, Chief instructor of the Honolulu Ki Society, Seishinkan Dojo, sadly passed away on November 18, 2013. Tabata sensei greatly influenced the development of Aikido in Hawaii for over six decades and helped thousands of people through Ki and Aikido. The UK Ki Federation is a nonprofit organisation established to spread Ki Principles (Unification of Mind and Body), Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido (Ki Aikido) and Kiatsu® (the art of healing with Ki) as taught by Master Koichi Tohei.
The Ki Society, Ki Aikido and Kiatsu® were founded by Koichi Tohei.
The names "Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido", "Kiatsu" and Tohei Sensei's calligraphy of Ki have been officially registered as names and trademarks of the Ki Society.
The UK Ki Federation is affiliated with and recognised by Ki Society H.Q. Japan.
Within the UK, the only clubs genuinely affiliated to Ki Society H.Q. are those listed within this website.

Some organisations which do not belong to the Ki Society improperly use the name of Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, Ki Society, Ki-Aikido, Kiatsu®, Koichi Tohei.
